Veterans Day: one free website for a veteran-owned NJ business, through Nov 11. See the offer

Website design for New Jersey contractors.

A contractor website has one job: get a homeowner to ask for an estimate. We build the site, the local pages and the lead system behind it as one plan, so you run the jobs and we handle the tech.

Why a template site does not book jobs

Most contractor sites look fine and do very little. One page lists every service, nothing says which towns you cover, the form is buried, and the site is slow on a phone, which is where the homeowner is looking. Google has nothing specific to match, so the site never shows up for the searches that matter.

AI tools can now generate a website in minutes. What they do not build is the system around it: the local pages, the estimate path, the alerts and the follow-up. That system is the part we engineer. You can see it on a real contractor site in the JMD case study.

What a contractor website needs

  • A page for each service and each town you actually work in, so a search for your trade plus a town has something to match.
  • A short estimate form on every page, wired to an instant alert so a new inquiry reaches you while the homeowner is still thinking about the job.
  • Your Google reviews on the site itself, kept current automatically.
  • A fast mobile experience, because most of these searches happen on a phone.
  • Your license and insurance stated plainly, since that is what a homeowner checks before calling.
  • A Google Business Profile whose address and service area agree with the site.

How we build it

We start with the searches your customers type and the towns you serve, then build the pages, the form and the profile around them. The site is custom-designed rather than a template, and it connects to a dashboard where you can see where inquiries come from.

A new build is priced on a free 30-minute phone call, because every business is different and there is no one-size package to fit yourself into. Our monthly plans, for upkeep and growth once the site is live, are on the pricing page. The place to start is the free audit, which shows how your current site handles inquiries today.

Proof from a Piscataway contractor

JMD Property Innovations is a licensed, insured general contractor based in Piscataway. We built their whole digital presence: town-by-town service pages, a project gallery that updates from their own Instagram posts, their Google reviews shown on the site, and a lead form wired to instant email alerts.

Where we work

We are based in Piscataway and work across Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties, and with contractors elsewhere in New Jersey. See the Piscataway page for how we work close to home, or the Hillsborough contractor page for a town example.

Questions, answered straight.

How much does a contractor website cost?

+

It depends on the size of the site and the services you want around it, so we quote each business individually. The free audit is the no-obligation way to see what your current site is missing first.

Will a new website actually get me more estimate requests?

+

A site cannot promise a number of leads. What it can do is make it easy to find you for the right searches, say clearly where you work, and make asking for an estimate quick. We measure where inquiries come from so you can see what is working.

Do you only work with contractors?

+

No. We build for local service businesses of many kinds, but we know the contractor and trades market well and design the site around how homeowners search for it.

Do I own the site and the leads?

+

Yes. You own the design, content and code, your domain is registered in your name, and the leads that come through your form reach only you. That is different from marketplace leads, which may be sold to more than one business. If you ever leave, we export your content and hand off the code.

What happens in the free audit?

+

You enter your website and email, and we send a review of how your current site handles speed, search, mobile and lead capture, then follow up with your top three fixes. It is free and there is no obligation.
